Urbex

UI/UX Design
Project Overview
The Urbex app was an exploratory first-dive into my newest learning curve around Figma. Much of the app is catered around finding abandoned locations that could be accessed by local photographers and explorers of urban decay.
My Contributions
The Urbex app was worked on for roughly 5-6 weeks, mostly allocated towards being more comfortable with Figma. Creating a cohesive and easily manageable database of locations proved to be a difficult endeavor. With the help of my peers and professor giving proper feedback, Urbex helped to be a great way to familiarize myself with the unknown.
Much of the process for Urbex required the standard level of website designed. Wireframes are essential in guiding a user experience that is palpable and easily accessible for the average person.

The inspiration behind Urbex specifically was the lack of information and dedicated spaces for holding discussions and photo-sharing on-the-go.

When a person is out exploring, it's necessary to have something that is quick to access and reliable in order to help cultivate a safe experience. This was the motivation in starting the concept of Urbex.
